Job Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines on cloud infrastructure
- Use domain modeling to develop impactful business solutions
- Ensure high-quality, testable, and evolving software architecture
- Build resilient, fail-safe data processing systems
- Optimize data processing for performance and reliability
- Implement secure coding practices and fix issues proactively
- Support zero-downtime deployments
- Stay updated with emerging tech and best practices
- Assist in production and incident management across the product lifecycle
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Formal training or certification in data engineering
- Proficient in Python programming
- Strong grasp of cloud platforms, especially AWS
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and data pipelines
- Experience with testing techniques (unit, integration, end-to-end)
- Excellent communication in English
- Familiarity with ETL frameworks and orchestration tools
- Strong ability to optimize large-scale queries
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in regulated environments
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks
- Exposure to data streaming, messaging frameworks, and event-driven architecture
